The Sweet Pea Parade

One of Montana’s biggest and most beloved parades is back! The Sweet Pea Festival Parade kicks off Saturday morning with the fan-favorite Children’s Run, launching this year’s magical theme: “Frozen Bozeman!”

Bring the whole family to downtown Bozeman and enjoy colorful floats, local performers, community spirit, and small-town summer magic—all free to the public!

Registration is open until Tuesday, July 29. It’s just $25 to enter your group, float, band, or business.

The Sweet Pea Dog Parade

Sweet Pea LOVES dogs—but since pets aren’t allowed in Lindley Park during the Festival, we’re thrilled to celebrate our four-legged friends in the Sweet Pea Dog Parade!

Dress up your pup and join us as we strut, stroll, and wag our way down Main Street. Costumes, creative décor, and Sweet Pea bedazzle are all encouraged—just be sure to keep it fun, festive, and family-friendly.

Presented by West Paw and Bridger Veterinary Specialists, this joyful event benefits Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter, Stafford Animal Shelter, and Bridger Veterinary Specialists' Angel Fund.

Entry Fee:

  • $10 for one dog

  • $15 for two dogs

  • $25 for three or more

Perks for Participants:

  • Every pup receives a commemorative West Paw/Sweet Pea bandana—their official badge of honor!

  • Complimentary poop bags provided—please Wag Kind and help keep our streets clean.

Pre-registration is encouraged and open through July 30.
Same-day registration available from 8:00–9:00 AM on Saturday, August 2.
