This year’s Sweet Pea Art Show will once again be held in the ERA Landmark Downtown Visitor’s Center. Chalk on the Walk
Tuesday, July 30 • All Day • Main Street
Decorate the sidewalks of downtown Bozeman with your own artwork! Chalk on the Walk is a favorite way for children and adults to express themselves during the Festival of the Arts. Create your own artistic statement on Main Street between Grand and Broadway. Chalk will be handed out from 9:30-10:30 am in the Jacobs Crossing lobby at 424 E Main St. Many Downtown Bozeman businesses want you to decorate their Walk and will also be handing out chalk – look for signs in their windows showing their participation.
Children’s Run
Saturday, August 3 • 9:30 am • Main St.

Sweet Pea Run
Saturday, August 3 • 7:15 am (10k) & 7:25 am (5k) • Main St.
It’s back and as fun as ever! The Sweet Pea 5K and 10K will be held Saturday, August 3 with the 10k starting at 7:15am and the 5k at 7:25am. This great community event is brought to you by the Big Sky Wind Drinkers and helps support their free community fun runs and THRIVE’s Girls on the Run program. The Sweet Pea Run is one of the oldest running races in Bozeman and offers something for everyone– from competitive runners to families looking for a little outdoor exercise. You can run the race and still make it to the kid’s run and the parade. Sign up for the race here!
Both races start and finish on Main Street and offer a great way to see a slice of what Bozeman has to offer. Start your tour in historic downtown and then over to one of Bozeman’s many great trails (5k), or check out what happens on Sweet Pea Festival grounds early in the morning as you race past Lindley Park, up to the expansive views of the Bridger range and down the hill to MSU (10k) and back to downtown.
Remember, please leave dogs at home and if you are bringing a stroller, please line up toward the back.
