The duo from Portland Oregon specializes in junkbox blues and will be taking the stage at 4:30 Saturday Aug 8th. Henry Christian and John Johnson meld backwoods elements such as Appalachia, slide guitar and more nontraditional sounds that are achieved from banging cans and BBQ lids to form their own take on music. Regardless of their elementary approach and DIY instruments, Hillstomp is no amateur act as evidenced by their sweat soaked live shows.
