Scott Pemberton Band’s sound is much like the vibe of his native Portland: freaky, fun and just the right amount of weird. Scott naturally applies his own stamp to the deep jazz, rock/grunge, blues roots and the west coast funk sounds of the Pacific North West. It’s all there, and often all in the same song. His music has made him an emerging force on the festival circuit and placed him at #1 in Portland’s pop charts. He has Tahoe Onstage calling him “The Bruce Lee of Rock and Roll” while The Chico Enterprise says he is “A modern day Jimi Hendrix” and Relix Magazine proclaiming him as the “stand out artist at this year’s High Sierra Music Festival.” One moment he’s shredding through the blues, next he’s living in a classic rock world. Music is Pemberton’s domain and the stage is his home. Scott’s motto is simple and clear, make the best music he can and share it with others.
